| Job Description This position plays a vital support role in radiographic testing RT operations. This entry-level position is responsible for assisting certified radiographers in performing inspections, ensuring smooth operations, and handling the transportation and processing of film. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to gain hands-on experience in the NDT field while working toward certification or advancing their career.Supports quality initiatives.Assist radiographers in setting up and operating radiographic equipment.Prepare materials and components for inspection, including cleaning and positioning parts.Safely transport radiographic film between the inspection site and the processing area.Develop, handle, and organize radiographic film in accordance with company procedures.Ensure all safety protocols, including radiation safety, are strictly followed.Maintain and organize inspection equipment and work areas.Document inspection activities and ensure proper labeling and storage of film.Provide general logistical and operational support to radiographers during testing.Adhere to all company policies, industry standards, and client requirements. | |
| Skills Required HSGED or some work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work overtime, and Saturdays as required. | |
| Skills Preferred Experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.Familiarity with radiographic testing or NDT processes.Completion of a Radiation Safety Course or willingness to complete one. | |
