Operations Assistant Needed in Goleta
Job Description
Deliver a World Class Experience to clients and associates by supporting the daily functions of the Operations Support and Lending Services departments. Learn and process tasks related to deposit and lending operations according to policy and procedure. Provide backup support for team members on deposit and lending core tasks as needed. Performs callbacks daily for all newly issued debit cards and changes to verify all information has been input properly. Confirms proper documentation has been scanned into the system for debit cards. Reviews debit card maintenance exceptions and processes debit card return mail. Logs and maintains any missing information or documentation that is required. Assists with reviewing incoming loan packages and preparing necessary documentation. Performs callbacks of recently boarded credits. Assists department with servicing functions such as payment processing, wire processing, and paid-note processing. Assists with setting up Docusign envelopes. Provides quality service to internal customers in a timely manner. Handles customer problems, concerns, and issues professionally and maintains confidentiality of customer information. Follow privacy and information security policies. Adhere to all company policies, federal and state laws and bank regulatory guidance including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act, Community Reinvestment Act, Consumer Protection Laws and applicable California Civil Code. Ensure all sensitive internal and external customer information is properly safeguarded. Use encryption when providing any confidential information by e-mail. Provide accurate and timely reports in support of periodic audits by financial and regulatory agencies. Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
HS Diploma or GED. 1+ yr of administrative exp in bank operations, lending services or loan documentation. Basic accounting knowledge. Proficient in MS Office. Data entry or document review exp.
Skills Preferred
Familiar with basic accounting or general ledger.
