| Job Description Prominent medical malpractice law firm with a statewide practice is seeking an attorney with 3 years of personal injury experience. Must be an aggressive top-notch litigator capable of taking on a full-charged case load. Handle all aspects of medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution. Conduct legal research, case analysis, and develop legal strategies. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents. Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses. Prepare clients and expert witnesses for testimony. Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Work closely with paralegals, support staff, and other attorneys. | Skills Required Juris Doctor. Active Member of CA Bar Association. 3+ yrs of litigation exp, preferably in medical malpractice or personal injury. Strong writing, analytical and communication skills. Able to manage multiple cases and deadlines. | |
| Skills Preferred Trial or settlement exp. Familiar with medical terminology and healthcare standards. Exp working with expert witnesses. | |
