| Job Description The Child Care Worker is responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. Responsibility includes fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children and supporting their social, emotional, and physical development. The candidate needs to possess essential skills, including patience, strong communication with children of all ages, knowledge of child development, and the ability to handle behavioral challenges, and will need to maintain open communication with the parents. Maintain a safe play environment environment is set up. Sanitize toys and play equipment. Keep play space organized and make sure space is picked up before end of day. Vacuum play space floor two days a week to keep dust down. Provide kids with nutritionally balanced snacksmeals and water parent packs and provides daily. Organize and monitor childrens age-appropriate recreational activities, such as games, arts and crafts, sports, walks, and play dates. Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary. Help keep play space stocked with wipesdiaperssnackswater. Ensure children are getting at least 30 minutes outside if weather permits. Incorporate 45min + of quiet timenap time daily. Keep children away from work offices unless asked to bring them up. There may be rare cases where you are asked to adjust your schedule if childcare is needed for meetings that may occur outside of your regular dayshours. Communicate about daily child behaviors and emotional related issues. | |
| Skills Required HS Diploma or GED. Previous childcare experience required, specifically with infants. Valid CPR and First-Aid certification. Excellent communication skills and patience. | |
| Skills Preferred Early Childhood Education ECE certification a plus. | |
