Job Description
Supervises and directs all aspects of the mortgage loan servicing functions, to include processing payments, demands, payoffs and advances, as well as monitoring property taxes and insurance, and in some cases, handling collection calls and loan modifications. This person would train and develop personnel who are responsible for performing customer facing activities based on their respective roles. Ensuring standards for Quality, Service, Timeliness, and Accuracy are successfully met. Supervise all aspects of servicing for all loans. Manage staff members in their day to day duties and ensuring goals are met. Assist in making decisions on team staffing, including hiring, and terminations, including coaching annualperiodic performance reviews and disciplinary matters. Processing of borrowers payments by check and ACH. Disbursement of investors checksACHwires. Upload checks to bank for deposit. Email, fax, mail copies of Investors daily disbursement special handling. Process payoff demands and VOM. Process insurance mail daily to check for cancellation notices and updates. Contact trustors regarding insurance cancellation send cancellation letter. Contact trustors to follow up on delinquent payments. Run trustors once weekly late notices. Prepare, print and process payment statements for trustors according to due date. Review and prepare files for foreclosure. Scan check copies end of each month. Maintain trustor records for taxes and insurance. Export new loan files from escrow to loan servicing from TMO. Process loan payoffs. Prepare conveyance for recording. Prepare, submit and follow up on all bankruptcy paperwork to BK attorney. Prepare month end statements for investors. Process ACH payments for trustors and investors. Process assignments when there is a change of investor. Make decisions to resolve customer issues. Interface with investors, trustors, other clients and companies. Provide excellent Customer service and communications with investors and trustors.
Skills Required
5+ yrs. of loan servicing experience in a supervisorymanagement role. Understanding of Notes, Deeds, Title Policies and Settlement Statements. Strong verbal and written communication skills.TMO software exp The Mortgage Office
Skills Preferred
Bilingual in Spanish. College Degree preferred. California Notary License a plus.
