Job Description
The Sales Manager will drive the sales and marketing activities of this established Telecom company. Company has experienced exceptional growth over the last few years and needs a sales leader to develop, negotiate and implement partnerships with e-Commerce, Internet and Telecom providers and lead the sales strategy and team. Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals. Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly. Reviews market analysis to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program. Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals. Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements. Directs product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items. Assists other departments within organization to prepare manuals and technical publications. Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion from sales line. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product. Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives. Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals. Manages entire sales staff. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these sales and business development units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Skills Required
BA Degree. 4+ yrs proven sales leadership exp within a brokerage, telecom or technical hardware sales environment. Growth mindset. Proven experience motivating a team.
