Job Description
The Senior Benefits analyst is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration and analysis of the companys benefits program. The Senior Benefits Analyst will interface with plan vendors and the companys Human Resources, Payroll, IT and other internal departments. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to researching, analysis, auditing and administering benefits plans and programs. This individual is responsible for reconciling benefits data to ensure compliance with corporate policies and applicable benefits legislation. Provides day-to-day administration of the companys domestic benefits program, including identifying continuous improvement in processes for administering and monitoring benefit programs, including assistance with required communications to Human Resources HR andor employees. This will include medical, prescription, dental, pretax spending accounts, vision, life, disability and accident insurances, business tax accident insurance, employee stock purchase plan, 401k plan and pension plan. Provide support and assistance to employees and HR with benefits claims questions and issues in a timely and accurate manner. Performs data entry for new hires, employee status changes, terminations, address changes, tax withholding changes, etc. Ensure proper COBRA and retiree administration initial notices new participant set-up termination processing Open Enrollment preparationmailing payment reconciliation. Reconcile and process monthly Employee Stock Purchase Program, including assistance with employee communications. Ensure benefit plans are administered according to plan provisions and companys guidelines. Develop and maintain reports to effectively track benefit costs and identifying potential high dollar contracts. Skills Required
5+ yrs of corporate benefits exp with an emphasis on health, welfare and retirement plans. Understanding of local and federal regulations pertaining to benefits. Knowledge of ADP and HRIS Software. ITAR Compliant.
Skills Preferred
BA Degree.
